Patriot Democracy Projects
South Africa has some serious problems that are holding back our beautiful country and is often used and manipulated for political gains. Some very smart South Africans have had some truly great ideas that never really seen much focus, and these ideas have never been grouped into a larger strategy.
Patriot Democracy is looking to solve these problems with a place where ideas can be shared, developed and promoted and hopefully drive forward to real change.
Make-Up Of A Project
At the most basic, a project is an idea that looks to help South Africa and address a specific issue. For an idea to become a project that Patriot Democracy adopts and promotes the idea needs to meet a few minimum criteria.
- A Project MUST look to solve a specific problem.
- A Project MUST NOT conflict or overlap with another project.
- A Project MUST be based on the principles of shared goals.
- A Project MUST NOT infringe on peoples rights or be anti-democratic.
- A Project MUST be inclusive and allow for anyone to participate.
- A Project MUST NOT promote racial divisions or any other form of prejudice.
- A Project MUST help to build a prosperous new nation.
The grassroots education of the wider South African public in the basic principles of Democracy, voting and how to be heard in a Democratic country, and holding political leaders accountable to the people. To achieve the goals of Project Alpha there is a call for strong, brave, caring and empathetic South Africans that can act as role models and educators taking Democracy to their communities.
Project Poverty Trading
Giving the poor a tradeable value to help offset their situation, allowing them to compete with their more privileged and wealthier peers. Poverty Trading is about creating a system that allows for any person in South Africa to help fix the wrongs of the past by focusing on poverty. Poverty trading is about empowering the poor to change their situation and incentives the middle-income and wealthy to participate in poverty eradication.
Project Economic Guardian
Growing the pie that is our economy, and changing the structure of the South African economy by creating new businesses where the poor are mentored, and partner with existing experienced business owners. Partnerships between the poor and existing experienced business owners are promoted and incentivised to create new companies and jobs in the poorest communities of South Africa.
Project Deed For A Deed
Victimless Land reform through a system and funding mechanism that empowers the poor and ordinary South Africans to participate in the transfer of ownership of municipal land the poor currently live on. The Khaya Lam project has shown us the way, all the laws are already in place to make this a reality.
Project Law Balancing
The balancing of political power and the rule of law through the creation of a system and institution that will prevent greedy power-hungry politicians from eroding the rule of law, and concentrating power over time. Law balancing is about empowering the people of the country to call into question bad choices that conflict with the principles of the rule of law and the separation of powers that underpin a Democracy.
